SDHL: Färjestad BK
The green and white of Värmland will be on the opposite side of the ice as Brynäs IF and Färjestad BK battle for SDHL points at Monitor ERP Arena.
Information
Färjestad are one of the most recognisable names in Swedish ice hockey, although the women’s team’s journey to the top division is a much more recent chapter in the club’s long history. After several years of determined progress through the league system, the Karlstad side earned promotion to the SDHL in 2025 and the opportunity to compete against Sweden’s leading teams. The meeting with Brynäs therefore brings together two classic clubs whose women’s teams are at different stages of their respective journeys at the highest level. Färjestad bring a strong Värmland hockey identity with them from Karlstad to Gävle, putting two proud club crests on the same ice. At Monitor ERP Arena, however, it is the performance on the night that matters – with two points waiting to be claimed.
