Jädraås Herrgård

Information

Jädraås Herrgård is located right by Jädraån River with a magnificent view of the river and the great big forests. The mansion was built in the middle of the 1850s and has been owned by both workers at the nearby forge and by private home owners. It now stands meticulously renovated to a high standard offering comfortable boarding with a historical charm.

Jädraås is surrounded by stunning nature, waiting to be explored. Embark on beautiful Gästrikeleden trail directly from Jädraås, or chose from many other trails to hike, bike or run.

The mansion has seven rooms with a total of 14 beds. Here, you stay in our cosy and charming rooms with comfortable spring-mattress beds. Five of the seven rooms have an on-suite shower and bathroom, the other two rooms use two shared modern showers and bathrooms close by. Our tasty ecological breakfast buffet is always included in your booking when you stay at the mansion.

There is also a modern kitchen where you can make your own lunch or dinner, or just have a cup of coffee and a chat with other guests. The dining room, the grand hall, and the porch are other great places in the mansion to just relax or socialise. All three rooms have breath-taking views of Jädraån River and the garden.

The Annexet, also called Flygeln (the wings), has six 2-bed rooms and a total of 12 beds. There are newly renovated shared showers and bathrooms down the corridor.

At Annexet, you either have your breakfast at the mansion or make your own in the well-equipped smaller kitchen. There is plenty of space in the Annex for having your meal and socialising.

We also have dog-friendly rooms.

The Garden, that slopes down to Jädraån River, has both open spaces and shading leafy trees. Relax in the shade, get some sun, play, work out or go swimming, canoeing, rowing or fishing in the river. The mansion has its ‘own boat and swimming jetty.
