The Cardigans

The Cardigans were formed in Jönköping in the early 1990s and made their international breakthrough with albums such as Life, First Band On The Moon and Gran Turismo. With songs like “Lovefool”, “My Favourite Game” and “Erase/Rewind”, the band became a global phenomenon and sold millions of albums worldwide.

Their breakthrough was followed by world tours, Grammis awards and an international impact that few Swedish bands can match. Since their live comeback in 2012, The Cardigans have continued to perform for audiences around the world. Guitarist and songwriter Peter Svensson has not performed live with the band since then and is replaced on stage by Oskar Humlebo, also known as Motoboy.

Now a summer evening filled with iconic songs awaits as The Cardigans take to Furuvik’s Main Stage.
