Boating Day is open to everyone – whether you already love life on the water or simply want to enjoy the atmosphere.
Boating Day invites you to an inspiring late morning and early afternoon behind Gasklockorna in Gävle. Here you can meet boats, local organisations, sea rescue volunteers, energy providers and people who are happy to share their passion for the sea.
Svenska Sjöräddningssällskapet, Svenska Kryssarklubben Eggegrundskretsen, SK Surfing and Gävle Energi will be on site. You can take a closer look at boats, try throwing a lifebuoy, talk about boating and learn more about what it can mean to become involved in sea rescue.
It is a relaxed day for curious beginners and experienced boaters alike. Bring your friends, stop by for a hamburger and enjoy the conversations, the setting and the feeling that summer on the water is just around the corner.
